Meet Bostdorff Legal, LLC
Elizabeth Bostdorff, Partner and Founder
As a passionate advocate for my clients, I have successfully represented them in a variety of legal matters, including juvenile - including children protective services, custody and child support; divorce and dissolution; probate - including estate and guardianships; estate planning; business; and agriculture. I work tirelessly to ensure my clients receive fair representation within the Court system and understand their rights and the legal process.
I have a passion for farming and agriculture. In my personal life I enjoy crafting, travel, reading, the theater and movies.
I live in rural Bowling Green, on part of my family's farm with my cows and my cat Hemmingway.
Experience & Education
I am a 2013 graduate of University of Toledo College of Law; and, a 2004 graduate of the Ohio State University. Prior to law school I worked in state and federal government. I have also served as an Adjunct Professor teaching Agriculture and Juvenile Law at Toledo Law. I was an associate at Rayle, Matthews and Coon in Bowling Green, Ohio, from 2013 to 2021. I started Bostdorff Legal, LLC in 2021.
From 2013 to 2023, I also served as the Plain Township Fiscal Officer. I also serve as the Clerk for Union Hill Cemetery.
My practice includes all of Northwest Ohio. I have argued before the Ohio Supreme Court, the Ohio 6th District Court of Appeals, and the Ohio 3rd District Court of Appeals.
Community Involvement
I am an active member of the local community and regularly volunteer my time. Within the legal community, I am a a past president of the Wood County Bar Association, as well the Toledo Jr. Bar Association. I am a graduate of Ohio Lead (2007); Ohio State Bar Association Leadership Program (2023); and Ohio State Bar Foundation Fellows Program (2024).
I currently serve as the President of the Agriculture Incubator Foundation Board of Trustees. I am a past chairman of Wood County Relay for Life; past president of the Wood County Beef Producers, Toledo Law Alumni Board of Governors; Wood County Township Association; and others.
